KC CARE staff take the Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) out to houseless encampments around the KC metro to provide access to free rapid HIV, Hep-C, and Syphilis testing. Staff handout safer sex kits, overdose prevention resources, connect participants to care, and provide free shelf-stable food and nutritional drinks.
